So far this week I have made some decent progress with this illustration. It's amazing how fast it's been going since I've been on vacation. Still aways to go, but I do see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's been way too long since I've painted hands. Hands are just as hard or even harder to render than portraits.

this is awesome. I agree with you about the hands thing. these look great! I often find myself hinting at them, or flat at hiding them. Ima COWARD! haha.
anyway, I'm excited to see more of your work. BIll Carman has mentioned you in class a couple of times, and I saw your work in the halls or shows at BSU a couple of times, but never knew who you were.
